Dems Will Vote in McCain?

Wow.  This is big in my opinion.

A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain next November if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination. This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters, more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee.

I don't see this as big news. Look at who elected W in 2000 and 2004. The same Democrats that voted for Bush will vote for McCain.

Given a choice between Hillary and McCain, I'll vote McCain. Given a choice between Obama and McCain, I would have to think about it for a bit longer...

It isn't that McCain is that good; it is that Hillary is that bad.
